West Ham striker Enner Valencia could be out until Christmas - sparking a chase for his replacement.
West Ham have made a move for Atletico Madrid’s Mexican striker Raul Jimenez who will have a work permit hearing ahead of a loan with a view to a permanent move.
The Hammers also have a long standing interest in QPR striker Charlie Austin who has been a target for Newcastle, Southampton, Leicester and Crystal Palace.
QPR have slapped a £15m price tag on Austin’s head and that has scared off Newcastle while he is also believed to prefer a move in London.
